TITLE IXTitle IX is applicable to all institutions that receive federal financial assistance, including any state or local educational organizations.  This includes local school districts, higher learning and post-secondary institutions, charter schools, for-profit institutions, libraries, and museums.

    Educational programs and activities that receive federal funds must operate in a nondiscriminatory manner.  Some issue areas which impact Title IX are admissions, financial assistance, sports equity, sexual harassment, and retaliation.
